Integration Toolbox

The Medifusion Integration Toolbox consists of a suite of .NET components and web services that enable two way integration with third party applications.
Custom 'adapters' sit on top of third party applications and expose read/update functionality through a standard set of Web Services.
These web services can then be consumed by other third party, custom built or in-house applications.

The adapters contain components such as our Telnet Scripting Agent which drives third party green-screen applications as if a user was sitting in front of the terminal.
We also provide other components which support ODBC and SQL Server data adapters to assist with the integration of more standard applications.

Messages are sent between components using secure protocols and data encryption to ensure your data is safe and only available to users and applications with sufficient privileges.

The beauty of this approach means that the components can be deployed over several servers and can be multiplied depending upon resource and demand. We can provide a truly scalable solution to your integration problems.
Furthermore, because many of our components provide a two-way interface, we have been able to build transactional interfaces that enable updates as well as reading data from third party systems.

We also recognise the importance of audit trails and these can be added to any of the interface solutions we provide.
Administrators can interrogate these audits, identifying who viewed or updated a record through an interface and when the update was performed. This can be a great way to protect information on systems that do not normally support audit trails.
